If you’re dreaming of breezy evenings, waterfront views, and free live music in Historic Yorktown—your wish just came true. Rhythms on the Riverwalk is back for its 20th annual concert series, and this fall is shaping up to be unforgettable

What’s Happening and When

Starting Thursday, September 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., this beloved concert series lights up Riverwalk Landing every Thursday through October 9—all free to the public

The Lineup You Can’t Miss

Here’s the scoop on who’s playing—and why you’ll want to be there:

  • Sept 4 – Runnin’ Shine
High‑energy “Rage Country” perfection. Expect originals and covers that’ll get you dancin’ and hollerin’. These guys have shared stages with artists like Billy Ray Cyrus and Jimmie Allen.

  • Sept 11 – The KOS Band
Virginia’s top dance band for over 40 years. They bring Motown, Top 40, and sizzling beach music—favorites for all ages

  • Sept 18 – Anthony Rosano & the Conqueroos
Blues and rock, with soulful vocals and killer guitar work. They don’t just play music—they conqueroo it.

  • Sept 25 – WonderLand
Your modern‑retro dance party band—from ’70s hits to today’s bangers. They bring the fun, you bring the moves.

  • Oct 2 – The Heather Edwards Band
Think powerhouse vocals, Southern rock, and female anthems. They’ve warmed up for Sam Hunt and Jason Aldean—so get ready to feel the heat.

  • Oct 9 – Good Shot Judy
The Mid‑Atlantic’s #1 swing band. Smooth jazz, big‑band swing, and a bit of magic that makes you want to shout “Sing, Sing, Sing!”.

What to Bring & Where to Munch

Pack a blanket or lawn chair, load your cooler (yes, alcohol is allowed in designated areas)—just leave the tents and umbrellas at home. Food trucks will be on-site, and Historic Yorktown’s restaurants have takeout and dine-in options to satisfy your dinner plans.

Getting There & Parking

Free parking is available at spots like York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and the County Administration Building. Plus, the Yorktown Trolley runs until 9:30 p.m. on concert nights to help get you there hassle-free.

Folks, this isn’t just a concert series—it’s community, fall air, music, and Yorktown all wrapped into one vibrant experience. Whether you're looking for a family outing, a date night, or a solo evening of tunes by the river—you’re covered.
