Savor the Flavor: York County Restaurant Week 2026 Dates Announced

by Jackie Berberabe

The most delicious week of the year is officially on the horizon. York County Economic and Tourism Development has announced the dates for the third annual York County Restaurant Week. Running from Friday, February 20, through Sunday, March 1, 2026, this ten-day event is designed to showcase the vibrant and diverse culinary scene right here in our backyard.

For residents of Williamsburg, Yorktown, and the surrounding Historic Triangle, this is the ultimate excuse to skip the meal prep and head out to support our local dining establishments.

A Boost for Local Small Businesses

Traditionally, the weeks following the holiday season can be a slower period for the hospitality industry. York County Restaurant Week was created to combat that trend, driving foot traffic to locally owned gems. Last year, more than 20 restaurants participated, reporting record-breaking turnouts and a significant boost in sales.

As a local real estate agent and military spouse, I love seeing our community rally around these businesses. A thriving local economy is one of the main reasons people choose to relocate to Yorktown and Williamsburg. When our restaurants are full, our community is strong.

What to Expect: Menus and Deals

During these ten days, diners can expect a variety of special offers. While each location chooses its own way to participate, most offer:

  • Three-Course Prix Fixe Menus: Specialized lunch or dinner sets at a set price point.
  • Exclusive Discounts: Percentage-based savings or "buy one get one" offers available only during this week.
  • Signature Dishes: Many chefs use this week to debut new items or bring back fan favorites that aren't on the regular menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need reservations for Restaurant Week? While not every restaurant requires them, it is highly recommended. This is one of the busiest weeks for local dining, and popular spots at Riverwalk Landing and throughout the county tend to fill up fast.

Are there options for specific diets? Yes. In previous years, participating restaurants have included a wide range of options, including gluten-free, vegan, and family-friendly menus. The full list released in February will specify which restaurants cater to these needs.

Is this the same as Williamsburg Restaurant Week? No. While they often happen around the same time of year, York County Restaurant Week focuses specifically on businesses located within York County. The Williamsburg Area Restaurant Week typically runs during the first week of February.

How can I see the menus before I go? The official list of participating restaurants and their specific "Restaurant Week" menus will be posted on the Visit Yorktown website starting February 9, 2026.
