James City County’s newest signature event, Vintage, Visions & Vibes, brings a retro-meets-local celebration to two venues the weekend of September 12–13, 2025. The County’s Parks & Recreation team is pairing a ticketed Friday night experience with a family-friendly festival on Saturday—plus they’re still seeking vendors to round out the market lineup.

Friday: Dining in the Dark (Ages 21+)

Kick things off at Legacy Hall with a 6:30–10 p.m. evening featuring vintage game night followed by a sensory-forward “Dining in the Dark” dinner. Guests are blindfolded for a mystery menu designed to heighten taste and smell. This is a 21+ ticketed event; details and purchase info are posted on the County announcement and linked ticket page.

Saturday: Festival Day on the River

On Saturday, Sept 13, 11 a.m.–4 p.m., the party moves to Jamestown Beach Event Park. Parking is $10 per car; admission to the festival is free. Expect:

Vendors Wanted: How to Apply

Organizers are recruiting vintage and collectible sellers, artisan makers, and food and beverage vendors.
