Wagsters Magic Theatre Reopens in a 7,500-Square-Foot High-Street Home

A Super-Sized Stage for Williamsburg’s Favorite Illusionists
On July 18, 2025, Brandon and Hannah Wagster throw open the doors of their brand-new theatre at 1430 High Street, Suite 202. The move enlarges their footprint from about 3,000 sq ft to 7,500 sq ft, boosting capacity to 125 guests per performance and adding a retail nook where fans can snag tricks and souvenirs even when shows aren’t running.
What’s New Inside
- Low-level, fully accessible stage so every guest—regardless of mobility—can volunteer for on-stage magic.
- Two-act, 90-minute production packed with fresh illusions, upgraded lighting, and brand-new effects.
- Party & workshop room for birthdays, corporate team-builders, or the Wagsters’ popular summer Magic Camp. Williamsburg Visitor
First showtime in the expanded venue is 7 p.m. on July 18, with additional summer dates already posted online. Facebook
Save the Date: Ribbon Cutting July 28
The Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce will host an official ribbon-cutting celebration at 3 p.m. on July 28—a perfect chance to tour the space, snap photos with the new “Loveworks” mural, and score discounted tickets.
Why the Upgrade Matters for Locals
- More seats, shorter waitlists—popular holiday shows historically sold out weeks in advance.
- Year-round accessibility—features like the low-rise stage and wider aisles make participation possible for all ages and abilities.
- Economic ripple—an estimated 30 percent of audience members dine or shop nearby before or after the show, driving extra dollars to High Street businesses.
Final Thoughts
From expanded seating to an inclusive stage design, the Wagsters’ new theatre cements Williamsburg’s status as a destination for top-tier family entertainment.
