The Fall 2025 activity guide drops online and at payment counters, government offices, and libraries, including Williamsburg libraries starting September 3. It's your one-stop for registering in arts, fitness, outdoors, and community events.
Aquatics & Rec Center Update
Labor Day Splash Monday, Sept 1, 11 a.m.–6 p.m. at Chickahominy Riverfront & Upper County Park. It’s the final splash of the season and includes FREE ice pops for all swimmers, while supplies last.
Heads-up: the Rec Center pool is under renovation and back in action on November 24. Check the Aquatics site for indoor swim alternatives.
Arts & Special Interests, Fall Creativity Unleashed
Kids, adults, beginners, or pros, there’s something for every crafty soul:
- Sing‑Along Art, Claylicious, Cupcake Decorating, 3D Sculpture, Watercolors, Charcoal Drawing, Garden Box Murals, Oil Painting, Pastels, Mixed Media & Collage, Fall Wreath Making, Candle Making, and a relaxed Genealogy Drop-in session. These run all through September, with prices from $10–$150 depending on the class. It’s fall creativity FTW!
Fitness & Wellness for Everyone
- Take advantage of Fitness Court® orientations (free and open to all 14+) at Warhill Sports Complex—gym vibes, no gym needed, bodyweight stations and fresh sunshine included.
- Celebrate National Yoga Month with weekly free yoga themes—Beach Flow, Yoga 101, Chair Yoga, Family Night Yoga—and then dive into serenity with Sunset Yoga Flow on the James (Sept 26).
- Try something different: Journey Drumming Meditation (Sept 17) at Freedom Park—drum rhythms meet mindful chill.
Inclusive & Therapeutic Recreation
JCCPR puts inclusion at the heart of its programming:
- Buddy Ball, Buddy Art, Kickball Games, Movie Night, Baseball Clinic with W&M, Yoga for adults with disabilities many of these are free.
